Great Hope Baptist Church desires to use the ministry of Summer Bible Camp as an outreach and discipleship program. By enrolling your camper, you are agreeing to allow your child to be taught according to the Biblical principles reflected in Great Hope Baptist Church’s Statement of Faith.
Your child will need to pack a lunch every day, unless otherwise notified of a special camp event. If needed, microwaves will be available for use. An afternoon snack will be provided each day as part of the camp program. If your child has allergies or would rather have a different snack, he/she may bring his/her own instead.
We have an active camp environment, so we ask that boys and girls wear loose-fitting, knee-length athletic shorts and a t-shirt with appropriate logos (no tank tops). If you would prefer your daughter to wear a skirt, it must be knee-length. Please send sneakers and socks every day for the playground. All campers must wear their purchased Summer Bible Camp t-shirt on all park and field trip days.
The Bible camp staff may require a child to change clothing that is inappropriate.
Children should bring a bag lunch for park days and field trips. However, there will occasionally be activities which students may want to bring some cash to purchase snacks or items at the gift shops. Information on these trips will be made available at least the week prior to the trip. The two off-campus field trips will have be an additional cost for each camper.
We strive to provide a fun and exciting summer program. In order for us to do that, we ask that you and your child read the following disciplinary guidelines and sign below.
- Camp leaders are responsible for providing a safe environment for all campers and will notify parents of any behavioral issues that may rise. After notification of the incident, the parent is responsible for helping your child understand they are responsible for their own actions and must make amends to the situation by next scheduled day.
- If repeated offenses occur, campers will be put on suspension or dismissed from the summer program. This will vary depending the number of or the nature of the offense (weekly fees still apply).
- If any questions or concerns arise, parents must contact the summer camp worker and/or director.
- Campers also have the responsibility to report any complaints or injuries to the camp leaders. This allows the camp leaders to properly address the situation in the moment.
Please note: Physical acts of aggression will not be tolerated and will be taken seriously.
Join us for a summer filled with excitement!
